Antenna Galaxies Poster
Antenna Galaxies Poster
$11.95
Bursting with color, the Antenna Galaxies are a pair of galaxies undergoing a violent collision some 90 million light years away toward the constellation Corvus. They are known as the "Antenna Galaxies" because two long tails of stars, gas, and dust thrown out of the galaxies as a result of the collision resemble the antennae of an insect. Most galaxies probably undergo at least one significant collision in their lifetime. This 24" by 36" poster is printed in brilliant color on premium stock and is packaged rolled into a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping.

ALSO AVAILABLE:
Antenna Galaxies Framed Poster
Our framed posters are dry mounted onto sturdy foam core and framed with a satin black, rounded metal moulding and a crystal-clear plexiglass glazing. We use only high-quality, hand-crafted (rather than mass produced) metal mouldings and plexiglass glazings, and we carry out our dry mounting process to exacting speifications. Our framed posters are packed into sturdy cardboard boxes for shipping and include all hardware needed for hanging. Our framed posters are custom assembled and usually ship within one week.
